I feel this is the perfect transitional outfit from this past ridiculously long winter to this warming up spring time. Showing a little leg and mixing light and dark is the way you can do this. As the temperature rises, the hemlines go up, toes will break out, and necklines swoop. Till then, I wear a light weight and color turtleneck, a slit light and dark skirt, and booties that give a peak of skin to make a statement “It’s not winter anymore”. My bag is italian leather and actually purchased on a cart vendor in the South Street Seaport in lower Manhattan. I recommend going shopping down in that area as the weather starts to get better and better.

Today I had some fun in my neighborhood and my stoop on the upper east side with some contrasting colors. My leather jacket is from IRO leather moto jacket and can be found at SAKS online. I love it so much as a continued staple piece in my wardrobe. My purse is from Coach and my “filler” pieces are from Zara and a basic tank. My eyewear is from JPLUS, an italian brand. I love my neighborhood and it was nice to notice what’s going on right outside my doorstep.
